Where a reseller buys from decides what you actually receive: warranty, support entitlement, firmware integrity and, for government buyers, whether the product can be accepted at all. Acronox sources exclusively through manufacturers and their authorized distribution partners.
Our channel
We hold reseller accounts with the major IT distributors that carry the brands on our line card, including Cisco, Dell, Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks, Tenable and IBM, where Acronox is an authorized IBM software and hardware reseller. Through those partners we can quote servers, storage, networking, security, endpoints, software licensing and cloud subscriptions from hundreds of manufacturers.
How a request moves through our process
1. Read the whole document set first. Latest amendment, Q&A, clauses, delivery terms. Nothing gets priced until we know the requirement is one we can meet.
2. Confirm who carries it. We check which authorized distributor stocks the exact part numbers and whether Acronox is a partner of the manufacturer. If there is no authorized route, we tell you rather than improvise.
3. Register the deal with the manufacturer. Where a manufacturer runs deal registration, we file it before asking for pricing. Registration often unlocks protected pricing that passes straight through to your quote.
4. Build the quote in the distributor’s system. Exact SKUs, your organization as the end customer, your delivery address confirmed, validity dates captured. We only quote from binding distributor pricing, never from list price or a website.
5. Ask for leverage. Special bid pricing, public-sector programs, education or healthcare pricing where you qualify. We ask every time because it is the difference between a competitive quote and a merely accurate one.
Why no gray market, ever
Gray-market product often ships without a valid warranty, may have been opened or re-flashed, and can fail the authorized-source clauses in federal contracts. The small price difference is not worth a rejected delivery or a failed audit. We would rather lose a bid than win it with product we cannot stand behind.
